Day 1 - Istanbul to Cappadocia

You need to be ready at the airport 2 Hours before take off time of your flight.

You will meet your quide and driver at Cappadocia Airport. (Nevsehir or Kayseri) Then you will have your transfer to Cappadocia first.

After Lunch break, you will see the Pigeon valley and Goreme Valley to observe the beauty of Cappadocia.

You will complete your day descending below the earth’s surface into the Kaymakli Underground City (or Ozkonak or Cardak), where five levels extend below ground and include; living quarters, kitchens, wine presses, storage rooms, stables and ventilation shafts. Early Christians carved out these subterranean complexes to avoid invaders who swept across the plains of Anatolia from the 6th to the 9th Century.

At the end of the Day, back to the Hotel.

Day 2 – Cappadocia

You can enjoy Hot-Air Balloon Flight in the morning (Optional)

You will be picked up from your Hotel in the morning. Then, Visit the Goreme Open Air Museum, Goreme valley holds the highest concentration of rock-cut chapels and monasteries in Cappadocia. View the churches with superb Byzantine frescoes depicting scenes from the Old and New Testaments, the life of Christ and deeds of the Saints.

Then we will drive to pretty town of Avanos, which has long been a center for pottery artisans as it lies on the banks of the Red River where clay supplies are abundant. Enjoy a visit to a pottery workshop to meet the artisans and see their displayed collections.

After lunch, we will visit a carpet weaving coopeartive. Local ladies weav the Carpets in Cappadocia for centuries. This tradition passes from one generation to the other. We will visit a carpet weaving center to learn about the most famous Turkish art work.

Then you will continue to Sinassos. Sinassos was the old name of the village before the Turks settle down. After the population exchange in 1923, that abonded Greek village became the home of the Turkish immigrants. There are 3 Churches, beautiful Greek and Cave Houses. It is being used as a stage by the filmmakers.

At the end of the day, you will be taken your Hotel.

Day 3 – Cappadocia to Istanbul

After breakfast, you will check-out from your hotel. First you will see the most famous fairy chimnies called Three Beauties. Then proceed to Red Valley to enjoy the view. Also, you will have an opportunity to visit the Onyx and Jewellery Workshop.

After the luch break, we will prooceed the airport for your domestic flight.
